Ok so for the past few months I've been having a lot of breast pain at first I was worried about it but then I read a lot stating that breast cancer usually comes with no breast pain symphtoms. I was told that I have some fibrostic changes going on and just to avoid caffine. Ever since the breast pain I've been kind of examining my breasts to see if there could have been something there since breast cancer runs in my family. Well I have found nothing on my breast but the last place I expected to feel anything was on my chest behind my breast or underneath I have to move my breast (left breast) out of the way to feel it. It's very hard and doesn't move at all. So, could this just be a strange bone that we all have on our chest or a tumor, how do I know? Or should I just not risk it and see the doctor anyway? Sometime's I feel like I'm just paranoid since it runs in the family, I think it's nothing and try to forget about it. If anyone has experiance in this please help. Thanks.|||You really should get that checked out ASAP. There are a lot of lymph nodes in the chest area. I had a LOT of chest wall pain when I was first getting sick. I'm not trying to scare you. If it's something bad, there are great treatments out there, but you have to get started. Chances are, it's nothing bad. There are many things that make lymph nodes swell. [and it may not even be a lymph node] Whatever it is, you need to know for sure. Any itching? Night sweats? Weight loss?
Take note of anything that is unusual and get in to see your doctor right away.
Best wishes.|||If you have a family history you should notify your doctor. It may be bone that you are feeling it may be a cyst. No one here can tell you with out seeing it. Be safe and call your doctor.|||put your mind at rest get a check up good luck|||To put your mind at ease I'd give your doctor a call.
Good Luck!! :)|||A simple chest exray will solve this problem. It could be a calcification but with your health background don't take any chances. I work with a cancer doctor and most hard cysts like yours should be checked. The soft painless jellybean like ones are most likely safe but yours does not fit that catagory. So have it checked You'll sleep better at night I promise
