What happens if you are pregnant and find out you have cervical cancer.. Will they recommend you to abort the child|||Well I would hope not But if it will harm the baby and mother then I guess thats the only choice.. :(|||I depends on how far along you are. If you are still early into the pregnancy, they will probably recommend a medical abortion as they cannot treat you without harming the baby. If you are into your second trimester and they feel they can hold off for a couple of months before treating you they may try to save the baby. It all really depends on how severe the cancer and how long until the due date.|||Cervical cancer, the kind caused by HPV, is very slow- growing. It is unlikely that you would have developed cervical cancer if you have been getting your regular paps. Most women have the HPV virus, don%26#039;t worry if you just found out. The body usually handles it just fine.|||some docs do recommend but i%26#039;ve heard of many woman %26quot;losing%26quot; it with birth. I don%26#039;t know how it works, but I know it does.|||I would hope not…do you have some problems that you need to have checked?
I know that some other cervical issues recommend Cesarian, I don%26#039;t THINK you can pass cancer to the child through childbirth. I would hope that, no matter what, they would operate on the cancer, and hope for you to be well.
Good luck to you!
