PSA does not equal prostate cancer… it is simply indicative.

Prostate cancer has a very high survival rate. In med school, we learnt that 80% of people with the cancer will survive a further 15 years without treatment. Please tell your dad to see his doctor as soon as possible for further testing. This is not something to wait and see on. The earlier you can catch any problem the more likely you are to be able to resolve it. My father and uncle both have prostate cancer so I do know what i am talking about.
