my husband has prostate cancer. and is doing chemo, texatere. and the nurse said his count went up and that the dr. would call him the next day. but didnt know we have to wait till tuesday. kinda worried. thanks|||No, at most it is acute infection. At Least he has a white blood cell count. Low counts are the ones that are dangerous.|||I would be concerned that he could have an infection if his WBCs are high like that.
